Tea Fertilizer Mixtures
Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Potassium (K), Magnesium (Mg), and Zinc (Zn) are vital for tea cultivation and should be introduced to the soil either by organic or inorganic means. Dolomite is applied separately in order to attain the correct pH balance and to provide the necessary Magnesium to the soil. Fertilizers such as Zinc Sulphate, Epsom Salt, and Urea are also used. In addition, Potassium Sulphate is applied to mitigate the effects of drought. The fertilizers recommended for tea small holders are shown in the table below. Our facility also produces site-specific blends to suit any soil or terrain conditions.
